Choosing the right VNA truck type
Very narrow aisle trucks come in a few main types. The right one depends on whether you move full pallets or pick individual items, how high your racking goes, and whether your aisles are wire or rail guided.

Man-up, man-down and turret trucks explained
What is the difference between man-up and man-down VNA trucks?
On a man-up truck the operator cab rises with the forks, so the driver works at the pallet position and can pick individual items. On a man-down truck the operator stays at ground level and handles full pallets, usually with camera or height aids. Man-up suits order picking and high-bay work; man-down suits full-pallet put-away and retrieval.
What is a turret truck?
A turret truck is a VNA truck with a head that rotates to put away and pick pallets on both sides of a narrow aisle without the truck turning. Most man-up VNA trucks are turret or combi trucks.
What is an order picker?
A vertical order picker lifts the operator to the racking to pick individual items or cases rather than full pallets. Our stock includes wire guided man-up order pickers.
Wire guided or rail guided?
Wire guidance follows a wire set into the floor. Rail (roller) guidance uses rails fixed along the racking. We supply and install trucks for both.
